Welcome
Space, the final frontier. Wow, I wonder if that's true anymore. With everything we can see through our high-powered telescopes today, and with tools like the hubble floating above earth snapping shots and sending them back to us for review, it seem silk it is only a matter of time before we find more than we anticipate out there - and feel a need to explore it.
This site is designed to look at tools and concepts about the great beyond, and to gather news about those who have spent the time trying to learn more about it. Additionally, here you will find equipment and links to essential gear for the avid astronomer.
My wife and I marvel at how sailors hundreds of years ago relied on the stars to navigate and inform them of upcoming events. Without the aid of GPS, satellites, etc, they managed to make their way through the earth. Today, my daughter cannot get rom place to place without an audible GPS. Still, we search the cosmos, looking for more answers - and in many cases, answers to questions we have not even asked.
I like to believe that nothing is completely discovered and that the more we continue to seek, the more we will find. The problem is when we stop looking. So, on these pages, I hope you will find interesting articles on our ever-expanding universe. Feel free to comment, and submit information if you think it would add to the conversation.
See you in the stars.
